Welcome to Chu’s research group!

Our research focuses on probing the structure and dynamics of biomolecules, nano-materials and their hydration water or surface water through neutron and X-ray scattering spectroscopy and theoretical modeling.

We use both elastic and inelastic neutron and X-ray scattering techniques to study dynamics and structure of proteins and other biomolecules, as well as their interaction with the surrounding environment.
